Polka is a beautiful deep red upright everbearing raspberry that is one of the best producers available. This berry is known to produce twice the yield of many other raspberry varieties. The flavor is exceptionally sweet and has won several taste tests. The berries are very large and evenly conical and provides an exceptional shelf life. This variety will crop two weeks earlier than most and will be ready to harvest from July through October. This is truly one of the best raspberry varieties available and will be a must have in your home garden. They are virtually spine free. This variety will even grow in less desirable soils. An absolutely amazing variety.
Note: Do not plant Red, Gold or Purple raspberries within 75-100 feet of Black raspberries. Black raspberries may be more susceptible to viral diseases carried by aphids to and from nearby raspberry plants
