Prelude Raspberry produces beautiful delicious berries earlier than any other raspberry. They first produce in the summer and then again in the fall you get another bonus harvest. This variety grows on an erect bush that is very easy to maintain and is extremely vigorous. This variety is also very disease resistant and very cold hardy. It produces the biggest crop in the summer. The floricane fruit in summer and the primocanes fruit in September through frost. The berries are absolutely delicious and very sweet. The berry is wonderful for fresh eating as well as baking. The berries also freeze very well. A must have.

Note: Do not plant Red, Gold or Purple raspberries within 75-100 feet of Black raspberries. Black raspberries may be more susceptible to viral diseases carried by aphids to and from nearby raspberry plants
