The Encore Red raspberry is a great choice for extending the summer raspberry-picking season and it offers high yields required by commercial growers.
The Encore Red ripens late July – Early August.
Encore Red is vigorous, sturdy, upright, nearly spineless and has exceptionally sweet raspberries that melt in your mouth.
Cold-hardy and heat-tolerant. Disease-resistant to root rot.
Self-pollinating. Encore Red is a release from the Cornell Small Fruit Breeding Program.
Recommended for home orchards, fresh markets and U-Pick growers.

Note: Do not plant Red, Gold or Purple raspberries within 75-100 feet of Black raspberries. Black raspberries may be more susceptible to viral diseases carried by aphids to and from nearby raspberry plants
