Wolf River Apple –   Talk about a tree that produces big fruit!  The Wolf River apples are enormous fruit and often weighs up to a pound or more!  This variety is famous for one pie from one apple!  The apples have pale yellow skin covered with a pale dull red color.  Flesh is soft, tender and creamy.  Tree is strong and disease-resistant to apple scab, fire blight, and powdery mildew. Large fruit is perfect for cooking – holds its shape and requires very little additional sugar. Antique variety, Cold-hardy.

Ripens in late September.
