This Granny Smith Apple Tree is a pollinator. This apple tree produces fruit that is large with bright green skin which is retained long after harvest. The apple flesh is firm, tart and sweet on this tree. The Granny Smith apple is great for fresh eating, cooking and baking. This is a very heavy producing apple tree that does well in mild winter climates.

The Granny Smith apple tree ripens mid-August through mid-October.

These trees have a 3/4 caliper 5-6′ tall. The trees are not guaranteed to fruit the year of planting although many will. By ordering larger trees you in essence are buying time. You will shorten the amount of time it takes for your trees to reach fruit bearing age and enjoy the benefit of harvesting fruit sooner.
