Espoma® Organic Traditions Soil Acidifier contains elemental sulfur to lower the pH of soils and allows acid-loving plants to achieve optimum growth. Safer than Aluminum Sulfate. Non-hazardous and non-toxic. Approved for organic gardening.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
(One pound equals approx. 2 cupfuls)
Hydrangeas & Blueberries: Apply in the spring to lower soil pH. For new plants, use 1-1/4 cups. For established plants, use 2-1/2 cups. Spread evenly around the plant (out to the drip line) and water well. Repeat in 60 day intervals until desired pH or bloom color is achieved.

Broadcast Rates: Apply 12 lbs. Soil Acidifier per 100 square feet for each one point reduction in soil pH desired. For heavy clay soils increase rate to 15 lbs. Gradual reduction in soil pH is preferred as dramatic reduction can result in stress.

Container Applications: Add one Tbsp. for each 4-inch of pot diameter.

Ingredients: Elemental sulfur and gypsum.
