The Flavor Queen Pluot is a delicious unique fruit that is one of the sweetest of all the Pluot varieties.  The Flavor Queen fruit turns from green to a bright yellow.  The  golden flesh is firm and juicy.  The fruit is very sweet with a slight apricot flavor and very little tartness.  This semi-dwarf tree features green foliage and blooms from early March through early April with beautiful white flowers.  Fruit begins ripening in July and trees can produce over 50 lbs of delicious fruit.   Fruit is idal for fresh eating, jelly and jams.  Trees usually bear fruit in 2-3 years.  Trees can grow 15-20′ tall but many keep them cut to around 10′.

Recommend pollinating with Dapple Dandy Pluot or another Japanese plum.
